How timely! To have some fun and save some money, my wife and I have decided to start canning through my Ball canning book, and....

My husband and I went to a farm today a few towns over that makes homemade cheeses, jams, and butter. I bought a jar of pumpkin butter bc it sounded so good!! Only I don't know what to do with it. Any ideas? Obviously toast is the most obvious choice ...

I am curious about Jack lalane's juicer, does it do the same as the Vita-mix and not separate the pulp? I know that the Vita-mix makes hot soup and I think... .
I know that Vita-mix has been around for a long time and has been proven as a very good juicer .
Had a couple people ask how I can feed my family on so little. We have 7, 2 adults.,.. an 11 yr old who eats more then the adults.. 8,8,6,4 who eat more then most kids i know... and no our kids are not ever weight..just had to add that... I will be updating...
