I'd like to try canning kokes with a pressure cooker but I've read that it's not a good idea to use these on ceramic stove tops. Could it done outside on propane stove?

I'm wondering if anyone has canned dill pickles and/or bread and butter pickles with splenda . I haven't found any info on it anywhere. Also would like to make salsa...does splenda work well in it? Thanks for the ideas!

It makes great tuna and chicken salad, as well as using on hot dogs.
This is my first canning zucchini relish using Splenda .
Can't wait to try these! I LOVE to can! It's a dying art form, for sure .

Canned venison tastes, smells, and has the same texture as tuna, as far as I'm concerned.
I used to used canned venison where you use tuna.
It sounds delicious.

I'd like o know more about theses bags are several layers including foil .

Does anybody have a method of cleaning the sticky oily residue left in the canner from canning tuna? I never had an issue of oil leakage until I let my friend borrow the canner. I asked him if he reduced the heat once the weight started to wobble... nope...

Just got one on special at costco to try for protein shakes. Saw a recipe for chicken or tuna salad that uses a wedge of laughing cow and veg that would be great for down days. Omm maybe? I want a shaved ice, hope it will pulverize like the infomercials...

Buying Classico spaghetti sauce jars....
I love this because canning jars come in all sizes!!! The small jars are really great for grinding spices & coffee.
Blender, standard (not wide-mouth) canning jars fit most models (definitely Oster).
