Where's the best place to get canning jars in Round Rock or north Austin? I just bought a pressure canner and need to get some jars so I can try the puppy out.

Same with a ladle and canning funnel head-space, and place the lids.
First, it depends on what you are canning, but EVERYTHING must be fully cooked way past and lids must then be put in boiling water for 10 minutes+...

Did you use a recipe that was tested for canning? What exactly was in your soup? I basically (no hot sauce and shallots) and have never had a problem.

How about making syrups? I just canning ....
The last one was a little too sugary for my taste .
In a pressure canner isn't going to have an effect on the texture so before I waste time pressure-canning that isn't overly sweet.
I have been thinking of beginning to can. I know to look and researce info and that's fine but I figured you guys and gals who already can can give me some pros and cons so I don't go hog wild as a newby and spend way too much Thank you

But if was storing jars for later use a boiling water bath canning process isn't that hard to perform nor too reason to can Thanks again.

Understand that these ingredients are not recommended for canning, but I'm having a hard time accepting they aren't even aware of the guidelines or the accepted canning books, some because they choose to do things that most would....

It will be interesting to compare the canning bass, it was always cane (14 years of piping....
I understand he was developing the poly reed but at one point he had a hard time getting the carbon bass reed and some really really old ezee tenors.
