Long shot, but does anyone know if the push-on cap from the Skopar 21/4 LTM version's standard round hood will fit on the standard round hood of the M-mount version?

I know empirically that the push-on cap from the 28/3.5 does not fit on the M-mount 2....
My only salvation now would come from buying the round hood + push-on cap for the LTM 21/4 21/4 and 28/3.5 both use a 43mm push-on cap.

My front hood latch will not catch the hood. It will not close.

It took a lot of trial and error because if it was too low, it wouldn't catch and too high left a gap between the hood completely, but is was better,in my opinion....
Was finding the "sweet spot" where the alignment didn't make the hood too high.
