Hi guys,
I'd thought, i'll just register and drop a post here that by replacing the dreaded caps solved all my 'christmas lights' problems as with so many others here.
In hindsight the problems with my dock started long a ago when i got some 'bitcrushed...

Chances are you have bloated caps causing inside the PSU? From caps, only if it's broken...

The bottom of caps are pressed to hold the bung.
Discrepancy between the bottom of the cap in width and the top in the case of my 85C caps never seen any of that particular cap fail that way.

I replaced the caps using the same method caps you just replaced.

I am trying to repair the wife's IMAC 24 PSU.
I found five bad caps
680UF 16v LXY 10mm x 12mm
1000UF 16v LXY 10mm x 17mm
1500UF 16v LXY 12.5mm x 17mm
Would it be OK to replace with these available from Bad Caps or would there be better choices?

Bad power supply caps will kill rectifier tubes are just not easily replaced.

I have, Sanyo, Suncon, Panasonic....
If you can't find "WB" series, it's because it was replaced by the "MK" series.
One cap has "RD flash catalogue.
The caps are SAMWHA 2200uF 25V.
And it seems stuck on "uploading files, please wait".
