Is ebay any good for selling a car? I am trying to sell my car but I am concerned that if I pay the ebay fee it could be a waste of money if the car doesnt sell..
has anyone ever sold a car on ebay? how was the experience, would you recommend it?

ebay is a huge market place so if you put your car up for sale better judgement, I recently....
Advertise it in the local newspaper, craiglist or autotrader purchases went off without a hitch .
eBay is the worst way to sell a car.

YMMV eBay doesn't take a fixed percentage on car listings.

Was looking at a Toyota Celica on ebay and was wondering if anyone has ever bought something like this on ebay. I'd use ebay fairly regularily but not for anything over 350... anyone have any good/bad experiences of automobile purchasing from there?

Maybe you need to put more pressure on eBay.
eBay definitely should shut down the listing if you've reported it, because selling a car using a photo of another car is fraudulent.

"eBay Purchase Protection" for private party sales doesn't exist in transactions where the car is listed for auction on Ebay, you bid on Ebay, you win the auction.
You're not buying a car from eBay.
