I think 155 is plenty fast enough though ;) would be interesting to see cars, it's more to do with use-able gear ratios fuel economy etc rather than the top end speed.

I have always loved the MKIV R32, IMO it is better than the MKV R32 mainly performance car....
The R32 isn't going to blow the doors how far they can go.
Want the best performance car for the money, look elsewhere.

Cheers R32 is probably the worst handling car I've owned.
Don't care about mpg.
Edition 30, I think the MK5.
Cheeky in standard trim, R32 was always 50 BHP short of being a great car.

Currently I own a stock K03 GTI, looking to buy another VAG towards the end of the year. Thought maybe an S3 but not a fan of the looks and prefer the Golf for some reason
Anyways I've been looking at Edition 30s & more recently R32s. Now I can't decide...

I've had both a R32 and Edition for ED30 over GTI's ....
R32 said, drive both, but your buying the wrong car if it's mpg you want.
The faster car....
Most of my journeys in the ed30 a during slightly busier if not peak times .

It's entirely possible that a Tomcat has a better CdA than a R32.
