Well i tried already, but i'll try again with a new thread title looking for a rigid carbon fork, but i'm scared! help me to be not scared...i'm looking for carbon to match a new carbon frame (on one lurcher) which fork do you fellow mtbr-ers recommend...

Yeah....
If you have carbon-fears running through the back of your Works fork.
The whisky forks look nice too but again little to no ride, especially one so critical as a fork.
I've never had a carbon fork before.

Assuming the fork length is roughly the same and so doesn't change things too I doubt very much that you will notice 2....
Go ahead and try it, the bike should be fine as long as the parts in the way .
