looking for a rigid carbon fork, but i'm scared! help me to be not scared...i'm looking for carbon to match a new carbon frame (on one lurcher)
which fork do you fellow mtbr-ers recommend...

Yeah....
If you have carbon-fears running through the back of your Works fork.
The whisky forks look nice too but again little to no ride, especially one so critical as a fork.
I've never had a carbon fork before.

What can I expect?
I see the Ti La Cruz was made for a 47mm rake fork..dunno why. Chainlove had the Shimano PRO carbon forks on sale for $130 so I took the leap. It has the steel La Cruz non-disc fork now which I assume is 47mm though it could very well...

Assuming the fork length is roughly the same and so doesn't change things too I doubt very much that you will notice 2....
Go ahead and try it, the bike should be fine as long as the parts in the way .
On the bike with out changing the fork.

Just put a hope floating rotor on with a niner carbon fork and stock formula hub from a Kona Unit. When I lean to the side the rivets in the middle of the rotor rub on the caliper adapter. Standing and cranking gives a little rub. I got a noise once or...

Went and brought up a Carbon ASR-5C to build as a All Mountain / Trail Bike. Basically a play bike.
Went and brought a 120/140 revelation fork and now I am getting mixed reports.
Heard some stories how yeti is not supporting a 140mm fork on the carbons...
