How to identify what slot type a particular PC card is? Is there a good place to go to identify what kind of slot my spare video card uses? A site that shows pictures of the various slot types so I can identify this one? If you're trying to plug a PCI card on to a PCIe slot, that's quite to remove the case mount plate on the PCI card to be able to use. That is PCIe but more lanes than x1.
