I want to buy a good passive cooled graphics card. I have a had good luck with the Sapphire Radeon HD3870. It seems to be a dead product though. What card would you guys recommend, which has 2 DVI outputs and can handle Windows 7 effects.

It's not going to find a dual-DVI passive....
So, as alternative I recommend my current card: an nVidia 9400GT .
I had a passive-cooled version of the card in this card as well.
Windows operations, even Windows 7 and WPF effects.

Title says it all. EVGA offers "Hydro" graphics cards that are water-cooled. Do I need a separate cooling system for them, or can I plumb them inline with my Alienware's "TC ALX Single Processor Liquid Cooling System", which works very well for cooling...

I picked up this walt frazier autographed 90's insert card at a card show for 10 dollars.
On the front of the card it says 1 of 10,000
However, on the back it says 981/1050 - numbered by Frazier himself
Seems like a weird thing - idk whats the deal with...

They printed 10000 of the cards but walt signed 1050...
Makes sense now - still think its a cool card very cool, especially if its PC , it's not an error card...

My point was that I'd rather have a card that had a full coverage block because there is more to cool on the card than just the chip and to do away coverage and there's more to ....
And there's more to cool than just the chip.

I asked this question about 3 years ago and got a mixed response.
Will simply setting a elevated 3" fan over the backside of the GPU help cool it? I think it would for OC'ing. What do you think?

During intensive gameplay first in order to be diffused by the fans .

Well, ever since I came back from my vacation, my video card has been giving grief. Would keep switching off the PC. Disassembled and cleaned the fans, fins etc etc. But, keeps heating up and freezing or shutting down the display.
