Store and manager emailed carrot stix rep directly and voiced his concern with poor customer service.
After numerous attemps to contact carrot stix because of a broke rod I talked with local gander mtn.

A heavier rod is sometimes harder to get the right action out ... .
You can set them up differently for using different baits .
My personal opinion is to get several cheaper rods rather than 1 expensive .
It really depends on what you are throwing for lures .
