Gary Primarily carry in pa, unless I go on vacation Gun control is like trying if you had say 2 of the same model/caliber gun it would be ok to swap them to carry, or possibly carry carrying....

Sorry, but I carry a Smith&Wesson 3" model 65-3 .357 the best carry gun ever conceived by either Smith or Colt.
Combat Commander, Sig or any black gun is ok.

New carry gunI picked up a Blackhawk single magazine carrier to carry a spare magazine.
Nice setup, but won't see a lot of summer carry aside from hiking and camping.

What are your top choices. Can be a combinations of shotguns, rifles, handguns. I never killed a black bear with a shotgun, so I guess 3 guns would be fair.
Can you do it on a $500-$600 budget?

What do you carry and what holster? It can be a S&W revolver about the same and both are great carry guns especially with Crimson Trace laser grips.
But not interested in carrying a $1000 gun around.
