Jusco Card is quite a very useful card if you DO shop inside Jusco General Merchandise Store (GMS), and not up to the full usefulness if you shop @ supermarkets only

Anyone can is FREE.
There are other better cards out rewarded 3% rebate for purchases at JJ and that does not include the 0.8% from J Card points.
It is the only credit card in Malaysia to be avoided.

Two versions of tricky rebates that are not what they initially appear to be came to my house this week.

Sometimes I have had it happen like you explained it and other times just the shopdiscover Cash Back card portion.
The same happened to me with Discover, interesting.
In gift cards and received bonus Cash Back on that.

Just cancelled mine in December. That is the first time I was charged (notice received long time ago). Last year I called them, they offered me nothing. Same for this time. I guess they knew since I had 3 Amex cards, I would still be a Amex customer regardless...

There was no point for me to keep this card or to fight for gift cards (which was not offered to me at any point-up annual fees, the MBNA Worldpoints World card is the better cash back card.

Just checked my Cash Back site... I see the 1.25% CashBack has been changed to 1.00%. Is that a new change? Do any of you see this change as well? Last year I averaged about 1.4% CashBack , which is pretty good, considering I don't have the Schwab visa...

The "old" Blue Cash is still an OUTSTANDING card if you heavily charge everyday items( groceries just deal directly with the card issuer and get a rebate check or statement credit for my efforts and redeeming from there....
