It will work, but to get stereo L & R you need to use both line in channels on the Alesis .

I have this Pioneer deck (?model) it has auto BLS or something like that --- I remember when you put a cassette in and pushed the button it would FF, play REW, meters make pretty colors. Is this an auto bias/Eq setting feature and did it really do what...

Here's a stand-alone CD recorder that will record from cassettes or vinyl.
IIRC, the cassette would record faster, but on playback would be normal speed.

If the second-hand market for cassette decks in the USA is anything like the UK, the entire country is awash with....
If you really need a dual-cassette deck, buy the Teac.
