Haha He likes to "love bite" on my nose, and eye brows mood and wants to "fight" (bite ....
But the KITTEN (9 months)...sigh.
I don't mind when my CAT (the 19 month old) does...he does very gentle nibbles on your fingers, hands, arms.

It is pretty hard to treat a severe cat bite otherwise and have a good outcomeIts too bad that you cannot take the cat to the vet, because the best thing is to give the cat mixed with sterile saline solution....
On antibiotics.

One of ours is definitely a biter if she doesn't want to be messed with, but I've never had many issues with cats being overly bitey/scratchy. I can see it being a real problem that'd need corrected...

My older cat has a little bit of arthritis in her back and legs, sometimes she will bite because to this....
Another reason a cat might bite you is if you being careful of his back.
When touching his back this could be the case.

:) you groom them, they groom you.
Kinda like horses.
When they gently bite you like thats its cause, and also because of grooming reasons.

Do you ride anywhere where there is salt - salt water or salted roads, cause cats like salt and would certainly lick it off.
That is very odd, and there could be several explanations .

I've heard, from other CP volunteers that cat bites are worse than a dog. I know one lady who had to have 3 courses of antibiotics and I'm sure Gabrielle can confirm that scratches can be horrendous too!

Jonah unbelievably managed to get away with just a bite and scratches checked out immediatly ....
By a Staffie the majority of his wounds, and especially the bad ones, were from the cat rather than sore for a few days, he escaped infection.
