Can I take my cat to the vet on a leash? He absolutely does not like being put in the crate and would rather be held by me, so can I just carry him?
We are just dropping him off, and he isn't bothered by dogs.

I'd suggest wrapping your cat in a towel to help you hold them securely when you go in case the cat escapes from your ....
You'll need a harness to attach the leash to (cats can easily slip out of a collar and most cat at them.

My Tiny Cat has used up all his lives the last one being, something (probably a hawk or owl) tried to grab him and ripped a flap of skin up right between his shoulder blades.
Its a very minor wound, no blood to speak of, and the layer lifted wasnt full...
