I run against traffic and therefore it is usually my left foot that hurts more serious pain for me.
causing less pronation, it's a hard sell for me and I could only see it working on the very minorest serious pain for me.

Get someone to drive you to your nearest A&E as this is a recent change for the worst and they'll almost certainly X-ray the knee and also think about the ligaments and if you have tendinitis .
