Will Delta Dust kill Cave/Camel Crickets? We have an infestation of cave / camel crickets. I found their sinful little breeding place (the crawlspace - the ceiling was teeming with little baby demon critters)
So I took a flamethrower to them and sprayed...

Give it time to do it's job as it does work .
Once on the insect death is sure but somewhat slow in coming .
Delta dust is similar to Sevin dust in that it is an effective insecticide but does not kill on contact .

I was recently interested to find dozens of what I later learned were Herald Moths; Scoliopteryx libatrix in a small Ohio cave. I wonder if they are included in the diet of the bats that inhabit the same cave and if so, are their hibernations correspondent...

The BCI Field Guide to Eastern Cave Bats is dirt-cheap, tiny, and printed on mud-proof paper, so you won't feel bad bringing it in cave to help you ID bats.
