The 4 strings of the cello are tuned in tonally descending order: a (two keys left of middle c on the piano), d, g, and c. The c string is two octaves below middle c. The a string is the smallest in diameter, and the c string is the largest in diameter...

Can any one recommend me which cello endpin anchor is the best to use? I have done some research and found different types of it, such as wooden one, anchor holder like black stripe etc. Not sure whether this little tool can affect the sound of cello....

I know many traditionalists are going to hate this but I love the grungy look, it has much character now. The stock glossy brown had to go. (It's a Stentor student cello)

Yeah i managed to switch my celli three times in two years
1: bonaparte. it was a rented cello but awesomely good. it was built around 1840.
2: paolo. pretty good looking, strong sound but it lacked of any warmth
