If your theory applies, then every coin made with this die after the clash occurred sense????
Hence IMO, if it occurred in 1945, every coin thereafter, until it was either changed from natural use ..
Most do not.

Both letters are due to die cracks its life .. .
If you include die cracked coins as "varieties(just my opinion), but just cool and used for attributing coins.

Can anybody help to shed some light on this 2 cent coin for me. I have had it for at least 40 years. The obverse of the coin is total flat but you can make out the head of the queen... There is no date! Thanks for looking From Jen

Take it to your local pharmacy, if you? Provided that the weight is normal, ... .
The coin looks to nice to have had acid this theory or otherwise, the coin would need to be weighed.
I don't have scales so I will have to wait until tomorrow .
