Does a center channel have to match the right and left front speakers?
I have Dynaudio Confidence 1 speakers on the left and right. The Dynaudio’s have an Esotec tweeter. For music listening I’ll just use the right and left channels, but for watching ...

This is between the cs21 and bs21 speakers. I would be putting the centers on the end obviously. I own this set currently, but have 2 small speakers as my rears. I will move the bs21's to the rear and use 2 cs21's as the fronts. Would this be a good idea...

Other than that, yes they would speakers is a great....
3 c21's across the front will work well and the BS-21s large, and curved on the bottom so the speakers tilt up a little bit.

I have been looking at the Polk Audio Monitor 30 & 40 along with the CS2 Center Channel. I've also checked out the Pioneer BS21 speakers along with the Pioneer SP-C21 Center Channel. Any thoughts on these speakers or other comparably priced speakers?

That way, you won't be restricted to matching new bookshelf speakers to an existing center speaker when you get around to replacing for the front....
IMO:
- Buy a good pair of bookshelf speakers w/o a center speaker.

I don't know all the speaker terminology so forgive me. The center circle of my speakers have wrinkles in them (it's a dome about 2" in diameter). All 4 of the woofers (right term?) have this. Or I guess they are just pushed in some, so they are "wavy...

Its actually a sort of fabric rather than paper....
I would wet the dustover dome slightly first, to make it more pliable .
Bill You can probably pull them out with a vacuum .
Dust cover...no worries...just cosmetic...you can pull them back out if you wish.. .
