Hey guys! So I'm taking off in Feb's next year for an extended trip through out central & south america, travelling overland south from Mexico city and hopefully making it to the bottom of Patagonia by Dec/Jan, following the Andes for most of the trip...

El Chalten - Fitzroy, Cerro Torre.
Well the park is adequate.
Worth noting that South America is not as cheap as you might think..

Not Compton, Watts, Inglewood or Crenshaw District. Im talking more like the neighborhoods surrounding USC (newton,southeast,southwest) you know what I mean . We had a pretty large tight-knit VW community thruout the 80s. Lurking on here for several years...
