Hi has anyone tried fitting a GQ centre console to a MQ?

Hi guys,
I have a rare black cup holder to suit 94-98 BA. You can hide the cup holder by flipping it around, this replaces the lid part on your centre console.

This centre console work is on hold atm, I'm raided halfords....
Note I'm also trimming my centre console and I've bought a lot of other tools but I only and is a better template of how to lay out and stitch the leather.

Opposite the handbrake on the left side of the console, where there is what appears to be a second handbrake, but it's just a fixed piece of plastic... (sorry, can't think of anyway to describe it)...
Is anyone aware of a replacement section for that ...
