I have created a setup project for our client. The icons for the setup.exe and setup.msi are the standard icons.
Our client doesn't want this these icons. They want to have icons that look like they logo.
Is it possible to change the *.exe...

You can change the setup.exe icon, but I'm not sure about and you can change....

I'm looking for a good, preferably fast way to change icons in Windows XP. I've found a few methods, but they weren't exactly efficient.
EDIT: to clarify, I'm looking for alternatives similar to this.

I am rather OCD and like my icons in a particular order.
I can just hold command + to move and change the order of apple icons in the menu bar but that does not work for the other icons.
I realize that these show up in the menu bar in the order they run...

Menubar icons have options in the preferences on whether they appear closer to the left Unfortunately Apple has yet to enable drag and drop functionality of third-party menubar icons.

Say for example,
In some folders, I need large view for images.
I have to press Command - J (View -> View Options) and set the grid size larger or use Cover Flow View ( Command - 4 )
In some folders, I need details view for songs, or my official files...

The Default in that it can change the view....
Finder view options are stored in the .DS_Store files.
Window would dynamically change to show options that are applicable to your current window view (list, column, or icon views, etc.).

I have changed the icons on the shortcuts in the folder %AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar.
I have tried logging off and back on, and rebooting, but the icons remain the same.
Am I doing it wrong?

The only way I found to change the icon is as follows:
Drag the pinned item to the desktop, unpin it, modify ....
It seems that in the new and wonderful Windows 7 there's no easy way to change the icon of a pinned taskbar item.
