NHRA Chassis Cert 2-25-12
Ken Keir Race Cars 301-855-4988 will be hosting a Chassis Cert on 2-25-12 weather permitting. There is no sign up sheet. Its a first come first served basis.
Larry Wiggins will start inspecting around 8 am and go until finished...

Chassis cert?
Do you need IHRA cert at an IHRA track if you have NHRA chassis cert? Or vice versa? This is for Sportsman events, not Pro.

IHRA will accept an NHRA chassis certification, however, NHRA will not accept an IHRA one.

Do you need a chassis cert? If so call the office at 856-768-2167 to save your spot. Chassis certs taking place March 3rd here at Atco Raceway. Once again you MUST preregister!

There is a primered but done 70 if i can remember with 8.5 cert big tired car back halved has glass front end.

I have been looking all over the internet and cannot find detailed pics/instructions on what cage requirements I need to run 7.50's. Any help is appreciated.
Is this something that would be in the NHRA rulebook?
I believe this is the certification spec...

What's the process for this? What are they looking for in the welds, structure, and do the connecting points at the frame need to be exposed? Do they use an x-ray?
I've at the point where everything is fit up and before I start welding and making it permanent...

Contact Ted Peters when you are going for a cert (here no chassis inspection.
Pans in a bodys and that will not pass.

It is people with disabilities that need small modifications that really don't do major chassis.
