I've been trying to chew gum as a replacement for overeating. I'm also counting calories and cutting out junk food drastically, but when I get the craving to eat something when I'm bored, angry, etc... I've tried chewing gum instead.

I am 2 weeks pre-op for vertical sleeve. I've read where some people feel lots of hunger after their surgery. Does anyone know if there would be a problem with chewing sugarless gum? I have found that if I stick a piece in my mouth when I'm hungery it...
