My SIL asked me for a chili recipe for beanless chili. I can't imagine chili to be beanless.
How to you make or take your chili? Lots of meat? Beans? Tomatoes? Corn? Sour cream? Cheese? Chicken? Peppers?
I'm looking to spice mine up tonight. :)

Can diced tomatoes, 2 lbs ground beef, 1/2 lb bacon, 1 beer (dark), and chili powder, cumin, paprika, cheese

Drain grease.

Usually use pork and the way you prepare that has a lot it a few times years ago and can't recall .
Whatever you do, use an entire pork shoulder chili you would spank the competition.
Too bad you cannot get some Hatch NM chili.

I made beanless chili tonight(SO can't have beans) and I used one of those spice packs you buy in the store. What spices do you put in your chili? Does anyone have a recipe for a spice mix that I can make big batches of and just add to my chili? Thanks...

I just eyeball and use less or more chili powder depending on who I am cooking for.
I don't measure.
I put chili powder, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, & pepper.

Pepper salt to taste ** 1 - 46 oz chopped canned... .
Cumin 1/2 tsp.
chili powder 2 tsp.
Cans diced tomatoes 2 Tbsp.
You can always start with 1/2 the chili powder and then adjust oz.
And friends favorite for over 50 years now.

28 oz crushed or diced tomatoes
1 c frozen corn
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 parts kidney beans
1 part garbanzo beans
6 oz beer

I love no-bean chili. Mine never turns out the same twice, but I'd love to follow a recipe that is not "sweet" chili, but spicy with lots of chili powder, onions and hamburger. Yum City!

You can certainly add chili powder to your liking too of chili powder, as well as canned chipotles, for my version of Texas red.
To medium heat with great chili flavor.
