If you want to go really ethnic Chinese - walk along Spadina (China Town).
What's your budget like? There's a very good Chinese restuarant just 1 block off the Eaton Centre and Spadina.

Of course you'll be just north of the Eaton's Centre.
West at Bay St....yummy the Senator Restaurant (it's been there since 1929) .
If you like chinese food I recommend Spadina Garden on Dundas St.
