Went for slim-fast as easer to get hold of List of Vit & minerals much the same as Optifast
when out can I pick a ready made shake or meal bar up at most chemists
I DON'T THINK FBG will tell me much as I am up 2 or three times every...

I know that diet shakes are not the best idea...and i am only wanting to use them short term. I have been doing weight watchers but lost 9kgs and then each week have been loosing then putting on, and just need something to refocus with. Was thinking of...

Resembling chocolate, like the optifast bars (or the optifast chocolate bar, which was like thickOptifast is recommended by weight loss surgeons prior to performing surgery...

I'm supposed to start my pre-op liquid protein diet in 2 weeks so i tried a Trader Joe's drink today and I absolutely HATE it! How am I going to live on this stuff before and after surgery??
Note - I cannot stand artificial sweeteners either, the aftertaste...

Is the extreme calorie restriction?
Yes it is low-carb: with the Optifast shakes (IIRC) being around 70g carbs Kcal so its really a 800Kcal Diet

I have been thinking very seriously about getting this WLS done, however wonder if anyone has traveled this path & regretted it?
I prefer sleeving over band due to refill costs, ability to eat smaller portions of everything, a perm solution and less complications...

MOST surgeons will require this (or a longer diet), but I do snack too much and snack with... .
Lost 15kg in the pre op optifast stage and 200g to do a 2 week optifast diet to shrink my liver.
For 2 years now and haven't really lost any weight .
