Christian Faith

I'm hoping this is the appropriate community to be asking this question. I think this might be the place where I might find the people whose answers I want. I would really like to know how many of you have been adversely affected by creationist arguments. I am a conservative Christian, but I also accept the theory of evolution and the great age of the universe and it often pains me to see how many enemies are created by my fellow believers who argue so fervently against evolutionary science. I suspect it is a large part of why Christianity has become so unpopular in recent years. How many of you have personally or are close to someone who decided that Christianity is not tenable for you because YECs lead you to believe you must abandon reason in exchange for faith? source

If Jesus were a real person, he was a Jew that followed the laws of his faith. I don't think that Jesus would have changed that faith. People forget that it was Saul the tax collector that invented the Christian religion. Saul is the person I like least in the bible stories. source

As a Catholic, we are taught to love thy neighbor. My question is how are we supposed to repond to Muslims when terrorist acts, commited by thier faithful, are killing people all over the world? source

Any en mass or gradual drift that may occure will likely be a cummulative apostasy from actual LDS belief. I'm certainly not naive enough to think that mass apostasy from my faith is impossible. It's occured in the history of the world many times before. I hope it doesn't occure but I'm certain it is not beyond the realms of possibility. source

Honda, I don't really know what the Masons believe. Can you give me a link to what their background is or what they do believe? I will do some investigating myself about them and get back to you. source
