Hannah Member Christmas Decorations Is it just me who can't wait to take them all down? I can never wait to put them up but once Christmas and New Year's Eve is over and done with I just want to take them all down.

I know some people are very good and make presents for their kids' teachers or their secret Santa gifts but do you make your own decorations? If so do you make a special thing for each year, add to a growing collection or what?

On the tree yet - we have had the Christmas Tree saga this year I might get the box of decorations outI haven't made any decorations myself, but we use all the ones that DS has made at daycare on the tree as well.

There was a lovely (and great smelling) gingerbread....
We were on the Dream for Christmas and had an amazing Christmas activities, but the ship was decorated for the holidays.
And lovely holiday decorations all over the ship.

Anybody have any ideas for new Christmas decorations?? We finally ditched our live tree tradition -what a relief! Bought a Festive Tree but want some organic or fair trade ornaments for it. I might try making some by hand - I used to do that years ago...

The buildings in Distillery district are not what I'd expect to see in Toronto, I'd of thought it was all skyscrapers .

So DS and I were planning a Mother/Son trip from December 13-19 this year, he typically gets out around the 16 so he would have had to miss 1 or 2 days tops...well I just saw their "proposed" calendar for next year, he will have to miss 4 or 5 days!!!...

We only have the outside tree to do now.

We plan on going Dec 26- Jan 2. Will the Christmas decorations still be up around the resorts and parks? I am really looking forward to seeing the gingerbread house at the GF! Will it still be up? We are staying at SSR and BLT. Will those be decorated...

The hotel was not....
It's very possible will take things down about Jan 4 or 5 (it happens quickly, you go to bed at night with all decorations decorations.
Christmas decorations will be in place until after the New Year begins.

We are planning on either going to WDW the week before thanksgiving or the week after thanksgiving. I know that the week after should be fully decorated for Christmas what about the week before?
I'd really like to do the week before thinking the crowds...

Other reasons for going the week after- You can go to the Very Merry Christmas Party and they usually tape the Christmas Parade....
The week before Thanksgiving is pretty busy and not all of the Christmas decor is in place.
