I was brought up on things like Gremlins
but also Scrooged
I wish I had come across Nightmare before Christmas earlier!...

My wife (who if from Baltimore, I'm a Brit) asked me "Harry, why do the British not make Christmas movies - but instead just watch old war films and stuff, at Christmas time?".
I don't have an answer, does anyone know if we ever made any Xmasy films like...

I was just looking through Rotten Tomatoes and noticed that Arthur Christmas is sitting on a 93% average and still going strong with 26 positive reviews and only 2 negative reviews. I'm thinking it has a chance since it's been a mediocre year for animated...
