So I'm practicing scales, intervals, playing slowly etc and I'm trying to learn the GnR solo from Sweet Child O Mine, and I'm struggling a bit with the run down where it gets fast...

Do not with legato but with alternate picking....
The solo is 105 BPM ...
Johnny B Goode by Chuck Berry is a good challenge (lead part and RYTHM part try to do the rythm it's not fast but a good practice for the bends !
