I am interested in civil engineering but I don't want to travel a lot. I want to stay close to my family and go home to them most of the days. Is there going to be a lot of traveling?

For general civil engineering work, it's not common for design engineers to travel frequently unless posts, it all....
I think in most cases civil engineering is pretty.
Be the case and they may need to go somewhere else .

What is Civil Engineering Technology? I want to know what exactly a degree in Civil Engineering Technology would do for me? Also what does a Civil Engineer degree differ from someone with a Civil Engineering Technology degree?

Civil Engineering Technology has less therory, more practicl then regular BS of Civil Engineering will make 20% less than the regulare degree.
