Hey guys, so I've been noticing an interesting thing about Paiste 2002 cymbals. I've seen some people break them because they mentioned that they're not as durable as other cymbals. I'm not sure if they're hard hitters, but what are your guys thoughts...

And that was ages ago,....
NEVER had a problem, with any cymbals I play and use cymbal can last if struck by an informed player, and any brand's cymbals are just as prone.
Are supposed to be the most 'breakable' cymbal around.

Ok so I wan't to buy my church some cymbals. The current Sabian Pros? sound awful and I'm sure they were a budget set. They are really thick and I do what I can to avoid playing the crash, because it offends my sensibilities. I'm NOT bashing Sabian these...

They have Cymbal cleaner.
I am the proud owner of 60sHave you tried Ketchup? My advice for vintage zildjian cymbals was to leave them alone.
If you clean a vintage K you just murdered the most beautiful cymbal ever.

Unless you want to mount the cymbal at or near 90 degrees (a fad a few years ago) and need to screw it in place (not very good for resonance) the only thing that top felts seem to accomplish is to restrict the cymbal vibration and make it trickier to ...

I don't understand why guys....
The cymbal crowns make it so easy to get the cymbals to.
I don't use anything on top, what's the point? My cymbals are horizontal, so there's no need for felts and wingnuts.
The cymbal crown tight.

I'm thinking of toning my ride down a ...

Crappy to really crappy (some bent, dented, and cracked) cymbals (Zeus, Carnival, Starlight) and one double braced cymbal stands and one pretty decent hi-hat stand.

- Zildjian ZBT 14" Crash (awful)
- Zildjian ZBT 18" Crash-...

As long as you stay away from stamped cymbals (ZBT/ZHT whatever cymbal you don't like with one you do like.
As for which cymbal to buy, that is all you.
