Has anybody figured out a great, fast way to pick poops up off the fleece? For me, vacuum cleaners suck up the fleece and a broom and dustpan seems to just scatter the poops everywhere! Perhaps I simply have poor technique? I've resorted to putting on...

With clean fleece pad, then I scoot them to the fleece and I remove the whole kicthen coroplast bin out for too long.
I have been reading through some of these fleece threads and just have a few more questions. I am thinking of swapping from woodshavings to fleece and was thinking of one layer of fleece, one layer of towels and maybe on layer of newspaper. However, I...

You could use binder clips to attach the fleece to the coro so that they can't get under the fleece....
I'd try to find a way to discourage the habit .
I don't think it's healthy for them to be under the fleece with little ventilation.

As long as you have an absorbant layer below your fleece, the wicking layer, then it should be fine prohibitively expensive, I would buy one and test it out for a week before sewing it to the fleece.
Has anyone else given up on the fleece? I have a C and C cage that is 2 X 6 and have found that it is way too involved to take all the fleece and towels out often enough to keep the room and cage smelling clean. I am going to give a first try to different...
