Carl I back wash once a week the water runs clear in about 20 seconds so I am assuming the water is running ....

Will clear up to those in magazines or on the web, just that it had water that wasn't as clear as they thought comparing their aquarium to those....

Purigen in my canister filter keeps my water crystal clear.
Rigged up a few rods for this weekend and feel like i'm missing something. Lake is really clear, water temps are still a little cold I expect the fish to still be in prespawn with some possibly moving up by the weekend. Primary forage is most likely bluegill...

I caught fish anywhere from 2-20' of water the water the better....
But I only had one fish over 14''.
However, with a lack of wind in the forcast and clear water im substituting Shot all worked well.
Spinnerbait is my go-to lure.

And put away when the water was clear? I wouldn't think a UV filter should be necessary long term water through the filter? Say, in tank volumes per hour or day? The Diatom filter claims 325 GPH..

Should be easy to have a lab test done..
One would suspect that a dissolved material such as iron may be oxidizing and precipitating from solution .
You do not list much as to the process parameters .
Sparkling clear water?? ? Is the sparkling clear water from tops healthy enough to drink everyday?
