Is water blue? or clear? I need to know since i made a bet with my friend that water was clear but I'm unsure someone HELP

Ive got a 55gal drum reactor,making 40gal batches.im mist washing and have a continues drain going to a wast water tank.ive ran anywhear from 40-80gal of water through hot and cold and my water stays white.if its due to hard water will it ever clear?

What is in the water that is making it cloudy? FWIW, crystal clear water isn't necessarily the best water from the creatures perspective.

Avoid groundbait at first, as it can kill a cold swim dead .
Look for reedmace bordering deeper water and target this area.
Having said that, you may even blank if its too cold and clear.
A better stamp show.
