So... I was told at my last dentist appt that I was a clencher. He could tell by the wear patterns on my teeth. (Crazy).
Anyway, ever since then I have been aware of it and find myself doing it all of the time but mostly at night.
Anyone else out there...

Yep! I just went to the dentist was born, so my teeth hurt more now than usual.) For me, the grinding has made my teeth sensitive protecting....
Old on my teeth from how much I clench them.

Does anyone grind their teeth or clench their jaw at night? I've had pain in my upper left jaw for about 2 weeks now. I went to the dentist yesterday and she said my teeth look fine (I thought maybe I had a cavity), but that I may be grinding my teeth...

...and maybe grinding. I'm looking for a mouth guard for nighttime use, especially for a small mouth, so I don't want one too bulky. The pain has been bothering me lately, but I don't want to have one professionally made until I try the cheaper alternatives...

I started grinding my teeth during my pregnanciesI have the same problem but I balk at the $400 mouth guard my dentist is trying to sell me.
And over the counter ones just didn't fit right.

I realize that sporting goods places sale mouth pieces. I was wondering if someone could recommend one, as it may be a while before I can make a trip to the dentist. Also, if anyone has used a mouth guard what is 1) the probability of swallowing it/choking...

Easy, peasy and cheap...certainly cheaper than my dentist bill to fix ....
I have been using a boil and bite sports mouthguard since October in in your mouth to form to your teeth.
Protected my teeth but hurt my TMJ.
