I personally wouldn't take part in any that involve some kind of chemical going into my body - it's not worth the risk IMO.

What about the rest of the world, how do these treatments get passed for approval say in the UK/EU/Asia etc. Is it a case that as soon as they pass FDA trials...

This article says clinical trials are falling short because they are predominately single-center making them difficult to compare. How on earth will clinical trials using our own stem cells be any different? Each person would literally be a clinical trial...
