Close Right Tabs, Close Left Tabs, tab context menu In Firefox, using an extension called Tab Mix Plus, when one right-clicks on a tab, besides the command "close other tabs", there are commands for "close right tabs" and "close left tabs".

If a command can be added to close all menus.
To close all tabs to the right: Ctrl click on the next tab in the Windows Tab." I removed "Copy Address" from the document popup menu.
By using the Windows Panel.

I'm used to this way from firefox, and it is incredebly annoying. Is there a way to disable that behaviour in Chrome as well (when one tab is open, and you click C-w, it will close the browser as well) ?

I've downloaded the new firefox and have a close button on each tab until the number of tabs reaches a certain number.
ie if I have Firefox maximised in one monitor, with 7 tabs open I have the close button on each tab, with 8 tabs open all the close ...

Hi ,
Can somebody tell me how can I close/kill the session when user closes the browser. I am using stateserver mode for my asp.net web app. onbeforeunload method is not proper as it fires when user refresh the page.

Still, there are some ways to achieve close to this behavior.
A timeout - you can try and reduce the timeout in order to close inactive sessions faster the server know when it closes.

Is there anyway to reopen the last closed tab in Visual Studio? Similar to Ctrl+Shift+t in FireFox and Chrome.

I don't know of way to open the last closed tab, but you can open your most recent file through your File Menu and the top one should be your most recently closed tab.

Chrome has the same option and it's quite handy because I always open the most important pages first..

Basically you are just catching a mouse click on tab control and only deleting a page if the middle button was clicked.

A middle-click on a tab will close a tab on Firefox except for the last tab. I know that there is some setting somewhere that allows this because I have one PC set up long ago which does this, and one PC which I set up recently which doesn't.

In IE8 whenever I try and open a new tab (either ctrl-t or the new tab button) the tab opens, then is closed straight away. Any ideas how I can stop this happening?
(I can open new windows fine, but I much prefer tabs).

Start it without extensions and see if it happens Run>iexplore -extoff .
I had the same problem, I solved by uninstall IE8 and reinstall it .
