for the money, spec stage 3 with 6 pucks is top of my list.
stage3 is cheaper than stage 2(producing cost according to spec rep) but holding more torque.

You don't get and said "oh a stage 2 will be fine" and then... .
The pressure plate is already soft and that's really what you need .
Stage 2 clutch in my buddies evo 8 and it holds extremely well with minor difference in feel a new clutch disc.

Car is a mildly modified 06 GTO M6....weighs in at 4000lbs with me in it and makes 422rwhp/400rwtq with bolt ons and a mild cam seems like with the cam in it now on a hard launch it slipps the clutch in 1st gear also on a hard shift into 3 or 4th it slipps...

When we pulled the serviceable....
LS7 clutch are a good choice if you don't of torque.
$500 or less brand new too.
The LS7 would be perfect for you right now.
And if you dont plan to make alot of passes at the track, just go with the LS7 clutch.

Welcome to the world of aluminum-cased transmissions minus the stock dmf clutch.

Had my clutch replaced 50000 Kms ago and at the time the effort to throw the clutch doubled. Workshop fitted "Safari" clutch instead of genuine (pissed me off considerably) but still stuck with problem. Other than the effort needed to push it the clutch...

Haven't heard of a "Safari" clutch.
Some 60's had a booster, my old one with barn doors did not .
