My desktop is running Kubuntu 7.10 with Compiz-Fusion for the desktop effects.
If it gets too cluttered with stuff I don't want to get rid pictures that I posted in the Ubuntu thread.

Look into ASP.NET MVC - it is an alternative to WebForms and tends to have less clutter.

100% agree Bloo, and a cluttered desktop and taskbar is a great way to really slow down system performance. Just a damn mess... what's the point of a wallpaper if you can't even see it??

Until more options for customizing it are available, it should remain on tablets and phones .
It's terrible for desktops, and it takes up more room than several icons would have.

Recently got a new laptop for some software I wanted to install.
Oh, and if it seems a bit cluttered in the top right hand corner, there's a reason for that.

My desktop barely looks reminicent of a windows PC, I just photoshopped and made the background for the right and have dozens of costom gadgets and even scrollable icons, some stuff is a bit messy now, and many people might not like a busy desktop but...
