My game has been out for a week and a half and the number 1 asked for thing is online co-op.
The game has local co-op and was never designed with online co-op in mind.
Could I get away with taking the control input form xbox 2 passing it onto xbox 1 and...

To get online co-op in the game without a lot of work, but it's the most asked for feature and the game the online network code to get co-op and muiltiplayer also the leaderboard but it will take quite a bit and PeerToPeer....

Thanks to this wonderful site, speculation is swirling on the web about what exactly the Co-op & Multiplayer aspects of RE6 will be.

Revelations will have a separate co-op mode called Raid Mode which stands apart, especially having a bunch of friends to Play it Co-op.

2 vs 2 team strategy is a good way to play co-op.
Instead you should focus on learning how to play strategy .
Box near the log in screen? Co-op in IA missions could be good fun, but it probably won't happen.

I still think of of the best, unique co-op game was Resistance 2. You had the three classes to choose from, and you needed all three classes. The soldier's shield protected allies from the wrath of the Titans, the Spec. Ops dude was necessary to supply...

R2 is definitely one of my favorite co-op games of all time.
co-op mode was probably the most co-oppy, since success absolutely required people to stick together from that formula.

I'm not surprised about the 2-8 multiplayer because that's just verses type games, but if the co-op is actually playing through the main game with 5 other people what it implies, that is surprising!
