Are you Friends with your co-workers? I posed this question to a few friends and it was a mixed answer.
Are you friends with your co-workers/boss/supervisor?
For instance woudl you call them up on a Friday to see if they wanted to go watch the game somewhere...

I believe this is common.
I hate it when hearing co worker have an issue with me, and won't directly confront/talk to me about it, and will often email me and cc my boss. I hate that. There is no need to get boss involved unless you continually talk to...

Workers is a friend and co-worker from a previous place of employment, so they are fairly friendly of the 'friendly with co-workers but not friends' camp, as well.
