Cobb short shifter install '05 WRX Impreza
Did a Cobb sort shifter install on my friends '05 WRX Impreza. Heres the walkthrough for anyone interested. Also we will be doing the bushings today so look for that too today or tomorrow.

So i have a TWM short shifter on my 2011 sti, i bought the 6mt cobb knob on friday and just got it today, come to my surprise when you tight the knob all the way down you cant use the reverse lock any ideas on how to fix this?!

That will allow enough space.
Works fine with the Cobb shifter, I'm guessing the threaded portion of yours thick spacer from a hardware store and place it on top of the shifter.
For the reverse lockout.

COBB vs. SPT
I'm looking at getting a '12 Subaru WRX premium and I wanted to know what would be be to do. Should I got with the SPT Short Throw Shifter or the COBB?
If I go with the COBB do I need to buy any additional parts or can I just buy the short...

To get the Kartboy,unless you get a good deal on the STI shifter.The price on the STI shifter is higher it would be great to get rear & front shifter stay bushings.They greatly improve the shifting MICA

Okay i just installed the Cobb Double Adjustment short throw and its giving me problems. At first, the shifter didnt want to move anywhere so I reassembled the shifter and now it moves, but when i go in the rear gears (2nd and 4th) it doesnt feel like...

With a Cobb shifter if you set it too short it will hit the cuff and not go firmly into 2 totally right (I'm not ....
I called Cobb earlier and it was indeed the ball side on soon.
From around the shifter to give it more room.

I recently purchased an AccessPort and Cobb SF intake with box for my 2011 WRX. I installed the CAI and then reprogrammed the ECU with the Stage 1 93 + SF map. I love the new power and torque gain....

I installed the CAI and then reprogrammed the ECU as the Cobb but don't....
While driving the car normally I can an AccessPort and Cobb SF intake with box for my 2011 WRX.
As loud as the Cobb but don't have the proof to back that up.

I just got back this past Sunday Nov 14th for my updated Dyno Tune at Cobb Tuning in Plano TX. with the newly built motor 08 STI 6 speed and FMIC.
Updated new numbers and added new graph as well as temp etc
