Does it matter which one is used in a brownie recipe that calls for 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder? I have unsweetened dutch cocoa powder.

I've always used Ghirardelli's cocoa powder but I picked up a bag of Penzey's dutch cocoa overDutch processed will just keep them from rising as much - it makes the powder react with baking.

The last few times i've been to tesco they haven't got any value cocoa powder which i use alot for cooking. Has Tesco stopped selling value cocoa powder? (it was the cheapest cocoa powder i could find..asda and tescos cheapest now is £1.79) I find tesco...

Properly will be to hunt for recipes that require Dutch processed cocoa and use it up fast.
On the internet and most of them said properly stored cocoa powder would last up to 24 months, tops.

Silly question maybe but is cocoa powder that you bake with the same thing as drinking chocolate powder?

Cocoa powder is like the pure powdered cocoa beans; drinking chocolate has loads of stuff added to make it sweet and....
You need cocoa powder because its normally stronger.
Can add sugar to taste if you like.
Recipe needs 40g of cocoa powder and I only have 20g left but I do have cadburys drinking chocolate. Can i use 20g of that or will it work?

If it's just bournville than if it was me I'd make the bournville crap .
If it's good cocoa though 20g will do.
What are you is too sweet.
I'd just use the 20g of cocoa.
I know others will say yes but it's not the same .
I just bought some cocoa butter and was going to try to use it to make chocolate bark with coconut oil and cocoa...Anyone tried this and can offer some advise?

As far as using it in coconut bark gonna give it a go and see what happens...my first try will be 1/4 cup coconut oil , 1/4 cocoa butter , 1/8 to 1/4c cocoa....

I spread.
I added chopped walnuts and a splash of torain black cherry sf syrup .
I also added 2 scoops of chocolate whey powder and some dark cocoa.
To the melted coconuet oil and stirred until smoothe.
