Kind of a continuation of another thread but starting a new one so I dont "hijack" that thread... Today, unless a coin is an error or rare variety, a coin found in pocket change is probably not going to be very interesting to collectors unless its around...

In 1957 it was a virtual impossibility to get a key date in ....
When I started in 1957 the earliest coins were 1909 which that the coins in circulation actually are older now.
No rare or old coins are in circulation.
I love these big crown size coins and think that they should be in circulation. We have the 1 and 2 dollar coins why not a five dollar coin as well.

Only 45g 2 x $2 + $1 coins weighs 22.2g 1 x $5 coin weighs 20g A five dollar coin would actually be lighter It won't be changes....
If when the queen passes our currency will we changed and we will see a $5 circulation coin.
I went into my local coin store.... I picked up some new bills, And I saw that he had new 2012 coins out? he has the nickels and pennies and even fifty cent pieces? Did he get them early, or are they already out?

I don't think they are in circulation but you can buy 1 cent to 50 cent package available I do have all the 2012 uncirculated coins checked off in my collection including the Loonie and Toonie.

The most common series found in circulation is extremely familiar with coins, he really doesn't have enough experience with notes to even realize how unusual it is to see a $2 bill in ....
Have some on hand that were redeemed by customers.
Naturally if the hairlines are somewhat "organized" this can be taken as wiped. But how bout just from normal circulation or perhaps hairlines from rubbing in a pocket? I'm just curious how other folks come to the conclusion that an old circulated Bust...

I would expect someone cleaning or wiping a coin from circulation (especially on tiny coins like half dimes) tend to be more on the devices and not so much Tilt" on every ....
My suspision as circulation will hit both sides.
