What do you think about granite benchtops?
Will they ever go out of style
I love them but don't want tospend a fortune if they will be ugly in 20 years time

If you can find a way to import the granite from India, you may find on some beautiful granite.....
Hot pots to stove or rolling dough....you can go past it .
The granite with the shell pieces is superb.
If you can afford...have them.

We have light Oak cabinets, and are thinking about getting Granite top with brown, black and beige in it, and don't know what to use for back splash..Ideas please....maybe this shouldn't be here but I thought more w ould see it and help me thanks a lot...

Which granite do you like? Have you thought about whether the pattern in oak will go with the granite? I say this because it is easy to focus on matching the colors without considering the movement can get a lot of visual activity before....

There is a biking/hiking trail that is made of crushed red granite and just wondering how my road bike would ride on it or should I just use my comfort bike with a bit wider tire?

If it is pretty hardpacked, do-able on a road bike with wider tires, if loose your legs are shot, you've got a couple additional challenges left before you can get to the cold to death.
