I dont know how many pills you are taking in a 24 hr period but I can tell you what my boyfriend (Tony) just went thru. He is on his 27th day of cold turkey. His doc (drug of choice) was percocet 10mg. He was taking about 10-15 a day. He did not taper...

DS just turned one, and he still uses his paci to get to sleep.
After he drifts off, I remove it and he gets through the night. I'm considering taking it away altogether. I know the sooner, the better, but I could use some encouragement.

I'd read up on what is not necessary, because honestly, that's bullshit .
Going cold turkey, you're probably going to get some HORRENDOUS side effects.

I thought cold turkey meant no patches, no nicotine aids- just stop smoking- period. So the fact that I take Wellbutrin doesn't make my quit "cold turkey"? Just wanted to get my terminology correct.
