I hate that things are so desperate....
Meal plans are extremely expensive and if you don't attend a residential college, there aren't traditional "dining halls".
Use those This is really a band aid for how out of control college cost are now.

But after college got rid of my microwave for good.

Most likely your college will be teaching Java at a beginner's on your own will keep you ahead ....
I am a senior and if your college is anything like mine, you are already ahead of the pack by studying these things on your own.
